Handmade from multiple layers of high-quality custom craft paper, the surface texture is derived from the natural variation in fiber alignment within the paper. Comprising approximately 65% FSC®-certified or recycled paper content and 35% phenolic resin, Richlite’s color results from a blend of paper and the amber tone of the resin. Noteworthy qualities include ultradurability with minimal knife wear, heat resistance up to 350˚F (176˚C), natural antimicrobial properties (JIS 2801), easy cleaning, and compliance with NSF-51 standards for food equipment.
